Sts. Joachim and Anna Orthodox Church
San Antonio, Texas

Kind Friends and Supporters,

Recently, with God's help and the help and contributions of parishioners and other caring individuals, we were able to purchase a beautiful acre of land on which to build a church. You can see for yourself, from the photos included here, what the land looks like. It's a lovely and conveniently located corner lot at the intersection of Oxford Trace and Rochelle Street in the 78240 zipcode, the same area where we are currently located.

Sts. Joachim and Anna put down a substantial payment and the remainder was financed through Frost Bank's community lending division. If we are able to raise an additional $32,000 of our own capital, we will be able to obtain financing sufficient to carry out construction of an attractively finished steel building. Would you consider making a donation towards this goal? Your contribution is tax-deductible and will help further the growth of Holy Orthodoxy in San Antonio.

Our congregation is already too big for our rented space on Research Drive. With our own building, our strong and growing community will have a solid base from which to reach out in works of charity and service as we live out our calling in the Gospel of Christ.

Thank you for your consideration. Whether you are able to donate or not, we will be grateful for your prayers.

Yours in Christ's service,

Priest Christopher Allen

Welcome to Sts. Joachim and Anna Orthodox Mission!  We are a growing orthodox community in north San Antonio.  We worship in English but with the beautiful liturgical heritage of the Russian Orthodox Church.
We follow the traditional church calendar, also know as the "Julian" or "Old Style".

We are part of the Diocese of Chicago and Mid-America of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia.

Donations gratefully accepted!

We welcome your kind donations. The WeShare button makes it easy to give your tax-deductible contribution to Sts. Joachim and Anna. Through WeShare, you may make a one-time offering or set up a recurring donation. Thank you for your generosity!
